What would be a cool hair style for a black dude w. short black hair?

I don't want an afro or Mohawk or anything, just wondering if there was anything cool I could do with my hair (that doesn't require too much cutting) since right now it's really short. Right now, I'm just brushing my hair to one side, almost like a comb over on top, even though thats not really much to see since my hair isn't very long.On the other hand, I don't really want to dye it or something crazy like swirls or my name. The best advice in my opinion:


1. wash your hair out with water or put on a hot wet wash cloth


2. put grease of your choice on


3.brush hair for 5 minutes


4.put on hair oil( oil sheen or olive oil


5brush hair for 5 more minutes


6.put on du-rag for 30 minutes of overnight


7. take of du-rag and brush for 5 minutes.


8. get a hair cut every 2 weeks

What would be a good cosplay for a girl who has short black hair?

Er... Halloween is coming up and since I didn't get to show off my cosplay at AX this year, I wanna make up for it by having an awesome cosplay this Halloween that I can upstage my friends with. I am a short girl who has short black hair and needs a cosplay. Crossdressing is not my thing. I'm okay-ish with wearing a wig, but i would prefer to use my natural hair. Dying it is out of the question seeing as my parents tell me I'm going to look like a delinquient and threaten with disowning me if i do. I don't want anything that would get me a) arrested or b) have old men harassing me. =w= I've already though of using Lenalee from D.Grayman or Shizune from Naruto.

Should i go from long blonde hair to short black hair?

I'm a big fan of extremes/contrast. i am very pale naturally and i have very blonde hair. i go tanning and my skin is darker than my hair. but i want to try something drastic now because the california girl look is cliche and boring. should i stop tanning and dye my hair black and cut it? im the lead vocalist of my band anyway so i think a rockstar look would be great-whattau think? id post pics to ask you so youd have a better idea but i think posting pics on here is f#ckin creepy...

no, I think a rockstar with blonde hair is alot more attractive than a plain old brunette in a rockband, so cliche. if you want a change try adding a little blue extensions here and there or black extensions here and there on your hair to give you that edgy sexy look, don't cut your hair either, long hair is wished by many :)
Try a light brown first, for a couple of weeks, then go to black. Such a drastic change can really damage your hair, permanately. I think a shoulder length razor cut would be cute, but sexy at the same time. It would make you stand out, but not something that couldn't be accepted in public. Good luck, and hope I helped! ;)

Yeah go for it. But I'd go with brunette first, then hit black. Because since your hair is blonde it will probably really absorb a lot of the color anyways and get darker than the box.
