Should i go from long blonde hair to short black hair?

I'm a big fan of extremes/contrast. i am very pale naturally and i have very blonde hair. i go tanning and my skin is darker than my hair. but i want to try something drastic now because the california girl look is cliche and boring. should i stop tanning and dye my hair black and cut it? im the lead vocalist of my band anyway so i think a rockstar look would be great-whattau think? id post pics to ask you so youd have a better idea but i think posting pics on here is f#ckin creepy...

depending on your eye color.. if they are blue go with a dark auburn. Show some red!!! it looks good with a good tan too. short? well, depending on your face. long and thin go short, short and round short is good too. but you want extreme go short and reddish!!!Should i go from long blonde hair to short black hair?
the california girl look is very nice and i would like to look that way. i can just say that if one of my friends did what you're gonna do, i would be freaked out. you'll look like a gothic freak and there will be different opinions about you. it is your choice. i'd go with somehting less dramatic. maybe just cut it, or dye it brown or somehting. I dunno. i'm no expert. if you cut it, be sure to donate it...
no, I think a rockstar with blonde hair is alot more attractive than a plain old brunette in a rockband, so cliche. if you want a change try adding a little blue extensions here and there or black extensions here and there on your hair to give you that edgy sexy look, don't cut your hair either, long hair is wished by many :)
Try a light brown first, for a couple of weeks, then go to black. Such a drastic change can really damage your hair, permanately. I think a shoulder length razor cut would be cute, but sexy at the same time. It would make you stand out, but not something that couldn't be accepted in public. Good luck, and hope I helped! ;)

if your eyes are blue, they should really stand out!








dont stop tanning, if your pale with black hair it will look like crap. keep tanning use bronzers to highlight your cheeck bones and nude lip stick etc.

Maybe you can go to a shaggy yet long brunette with bangs?


It's still rocker, dno't you think? Plus, if you make it black, it'll be such a pain in the a$$ to get it redone because the roots will be so visible.
Yeah go for it. But I'd go with brunette first, then hit black. Because since your hair is blonde it will probably really absorb a lot of the color anyways and get darker than the box.
i think if you dye ur hair black and cut it really short kinda like rhianna that would look really nice b/c it's a really rocker/funky kinda hair cut!
Too much change too fast. go a little shorter and darker first to see if you like it and then if you do then go a little darker and shorter.

And BTW, if you're a dyed blonde, you would probably have to have your hair stripped before dying it black. If you're naturally blonde, I'd ask because I don't know!
